ISGF Asia-Pacific Region
The ISGF Asia-Pacific Region has been fostering friendship, fellowship, and service since the regional concept was first initiated in 1967. The first Regional Gathering was held in Sri Lanka in 1974, followed by the formation of the Regional Committee in Bangladesh in 2012 and its first official meeting in Delhi in 2013.
Today, the region unites 12 National Scout and Guide Fellowships and 7 Central Branch countries, working together through regional gatherings, committee meetings, virtual events, and community service initiatives. The most recent Regional Gathering took place in Bandung, Indonesia, while the latest Committee Meeting was held in Batam, Indonesia. The next Committee Meeting is scheduled for April 2027 in Malé, Maldives, and the next Regional Gathering will be hosted in Puri, India, in September 2028.
Committed to the values of Scouting and Guiding, the ISGF Asia-Pacific Region continues to promote sustainability, environmental responsibility, SDG-based initiatives, international collaboration, and meaningful service—strengthening bonds across the region and inspiring members to create a positive impact in their communities.
